Gold in color and fizzy enough to sparkle, ‘The Cinematic’ is a delicious and unusual treat that’s perfect for a glamorous evening. While you watch the red carpet fly by (oh, those gowns!), sip on this delicious honey and fig infused treat! It might even be good for you– figs are full of vitamins that are purported to make your skin glow (like an awards winner?)

Ingredients

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup water

6 figs, quartered

1 cup champagne

1/2 cup apple cider

1 oz. orange liquor

2 sprigs Thyme

Instructions

Combine honey, water, and figs in a saucepan at a simmer. Whisk until the honey is fully melted and the figs soften. Add the thyme and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often. Then, remove the pan from heat and let it sit, removing the thyme sprigs. Use an immersion blender to blend the mixture into a smooth syrup. In a pitcher, combine the champagne, apple cider and orange liquor. Add two tablespoons of the fig mixture. Serve in a lowball with a sprig of thyme and fig slice for garnish.
