Spring is (almost) here. And while it may not feel like it yet for some of us, there’s no harm in dreaming about how you can update your home to welcome the season.

The idea of bringing the outdoors in isn’t new, but now more than ever we feel that this practice is essential to maintaining our sanity–especially after a long winter.

Our designers have scoured the interior design landscape for spring inspiration, and we can’t wait for their spring musings to be in full bloom.

Pastels_But_Bright

Pastels are no longer just for nurseries. Compliment your neutral palette with muted tones like soft pinks, greens, purples, and blues for a calming look.

Whether you want to go big and redesign a whole room with pastels or start small with a few subdued textiles, it will lighten the mood in your home and remind you that warmer times are on the horizon.

This spring, our designers are leaning into color. While spring is usually associated with pale colors, there’s always something to be said for dramatic, lush tones. If you have commitment issues, just paint a single wall to achieve that added pop of color.

These greens and blues remind our designers of the bright, brilliant colors of a budding tree.

Preppy style isn’t limited to pearls and polos. While preppy designs lend themselves to soft pastels, you can instead opt for a bolder effect by using dark colors and pops of gold.

This bookshelf is the epitome of shelf goals. To achieve this look in your space, purchase a few potted plants and pair them with your sunniest prints.

But first, open the doors and windows to invigorate your home with the much-needed cool air spring.

There’s so much spring design inspiration out there. If you need help sorting through your ideas, get started with a Havenly designer today.
