You’ve finally committed to repainting that room and now it’s time to narrow in on a color. But, visit any home improvement store and you’re faced with, well, endless paint options. We often get asked about great paint colors, so we’ve rounded up some of our absolute favorites so you can approach the paint-choosing process with a little more background information. Get your paintbrushes ready– you’re gonna want to try these awesome shades.

The Perfect White: Chantilly Lace

Neither too cold or too warm, Chantilly Lace is our go-to white paint. In eggshell, it’s easily cleaned but totally bright and airy! We love an all white room filled with colorful furniture and art, and this paint is the perfect backdrop.

The Best Black: Witching Hour

We’re so digging this faded black/dark grey shade! Our designer Elyza is using it to paint an accent wall, but we also love the idea of painting a whole room this moody shade. It’s a warm black, too, so the perfect introduction to the dark side.

The Unexpected Blue Hue: Hale Navy

Hale Navy is having a moment, and we aren’t mad about it. We’ve seen it on kitchen cabinets, in high-gloss finishes, and even on floors! It feels rich and historical, but totally modern at the same time.

The Neutral-but-Not: Silver Marlin

In search of the perfect neutral accent color? We’re loving this sage-y green. It’s soft, goes with plenty of other color combinations, but is still a bit unexpected. Plus, it’ll transition well from warmer weather into the colder months. We predict this shade will be a perennial favorite.

The Warmer-than-White: Sea Salt

White is certainly having a moment, but there’s always a place for another neutral. We love this  as a white-alternative. It’s still light enough not to draw all the light from a room, but it adds a bit of depth where white feels to institutional.

The Prettiest Pink: Frosty Pink

In search of the perfectly trendy paint color?  is your answer. We love the idea of using it in a bedroom or bathroom for an unexpected touch to any home. It’s feminine yet subtle enough to use anywhere.
