Patterns like buffalo check are very of-the-moment, but add an autumnal touch to any space. A throw pillow or blanket in the bold pattern looks great with a solid sofa. It also looks beautiful with olive green or burnt orange, or even that saffron yellow we’ve been seeing everywhere.

We love the idea of layering cozy knit blankets in creamy colors into your farmhouse decor. Velvet and leather also add a warmer touch to all of your white linen and wood. Even without being specifically seasonal, adding these textures to your space will switch up the airy mood of farmhouse decor in favor of a cozier look for the season.
