Cozy winter cocktails certainly aren’t a new thing, but we love switching up our bar-cart selections for the new year. One of our recent favorites is a simple recipe that packs a punch, all in a drink that looks as festive as it tastes. It’s called the Rosemary Tuck, and its ingredients bring a warm layered, sophisticated touch to the usual whiskey cocktail. It looks beautiful served in a lowball with a big, sophisticated ice cube. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients

Scotch Whisky

Tawny Port

Orange Bitters

Orange Juice

Orange Peel

Fresh Rosemary

Instructions

Combine 1 1/2 oz. Whisky, 1 1/2 oz. Port, and 1/2 oz. orange juice, and 2 dashes of Orange Bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds, then strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel and a sprig of rosemary.

Cheers!
