Here at Havenly HQ, we’re lucky to work with tons of amazing women. With fifty employees, the office gender breakdown is staying strong at about 70% women, which is something we’re super proud of. It also means that some of our favorite colleagues are uber-stylish moms, and with that signature Havenly style they’ve created amazing rooms for their kids, from brand-new babies to independent elementary schoolers. Without further ado, check out a couple of our most recent Havenly rooms geared towards the youngest members of the family.

Serene, Stylish Nursery

Meghan’s brand new baby girl is the lucky owner of this beautiful nursery! Around the office, Meghan is known for her elegant, monochromatic approach to style. As we should have expected, her nursery proved no different. By using a crib and dresser with simple, almost “shaker” inspired lines, she incorporated her clean look into her historic home here in Denver. A rocker that would look great in any room (not just the nursery) provides a comfy perch for mom, while textured accessories add storage and a place for snacks, drinks, and books.

Meghan and her husband added another functional touch to their new nursery: built-ins that are perfect for all of the adorable baby accessories (those little booties!) of the present, and will grow with the family over time. Closed storage below open shelving provides versatile options for clothing, less-than-adorable toys, and anything else that might be better hidden away. Plus, the built-ins are sturdy and won’t be pulled down by curious little hands. It’s definitely a win-win!

Tweenage Paradise

For Jessie, mom to a precocious daughter who wanted a big hand in the design process, Havenly provided the perfect opportunity for collaboration. They took the design quiz together, and Jessie’s daughter had a big hand in their answers to the “room profile,” a form designer Shelby Girard uses to get all of the necessary info about each room she designs.

The result is a colorful, fun bedroom that will grow with it’s young owner. Leaning a little more boho than her mom’s Hamptons-inspired style, Jessie’s daughter helped design a beautifully pink and blue bedroom that mixes patterns and prints in a surprisingly sophisticated way, but doesn’t look out of place filled with a big stuffed animal collection (Can we talk about how amazing those stuffed cheese puffs are??). As she grows, she can switch out the bedding or art, but the classic bed, window treatments, and storage ottoman will stand the test of time.

For any mom, creating the perfect kid’s room can be a stressful prospect, especially given how quickly they grow up. But, we’re always here to provide a little guidance in order to make any space work beautifully for your smallest roommates.
