I know, I know….you’re sick to death of Halloween/ spooky decor by now. Us, too. But skulls are different. They are totally chic in a vodka-in-your-coffee-cup kind of way (promise we have actual coffee in ours)…and they are definitely here to stay (thank you, Alexander McQueen!). Don’t get freaked out or anything…but I seriously never get sick of skulls in home decor. They can toughen up an otherwise teetering-on-too-delicate look…

They can add a subtle jolt of intrigue to an otherwise prints-as-usual wall covering or fabric….

They can even add just the right unexpected finish to a more organic/ rustic themed corner of your home…

Even though skulls are season-less (they’re so not just for October, y’all), we’ve rounded up our very favorite Dia de los Muertos skull decor for this week’s Tuesday Ten. They are festive, bright and…almost…dare I say, happy? Perfect for a party…and chic in your home afterwards! Here are our picks:

Our Director of Design, Shelby Girard, is hosting a Dia de los Muertos party in Chicago this weekend. We’ll post pics next week– stay tuned!
Happy (Almost) Halloween!
