1. \u00a0 \u00a0 Look for reupholstering opportunities. I like to have a few fabrics in mind (or on hand) to help me imagine an old chair or sofa in a new light.<\/p>\n 2. \u00a0 \u00a0 Bring cash and don\u2019t be afraid to bargain.<\/p>\n 3. \u00a0 \u00a0 Bring a friend. Many times I\u2019ve found myself trying to decide whether a vintage lamp is completely hideous or the most amazing thing I\u2019ve ever seen. Look for pictures frames.
