Urban Dictionary defines a man cave as a room that\u2019s \u201c<\/span>specifically reserved for a male person to be in a solitary condition.<\/span><\/a>\u201d Aside from sounding like a spiteful prison warden\u2019s favorite disciplinary measure, this definition paints a clear picture of the man cave as a pacifier. They think they can stick us in a room with a giant\u00a0TV and we\u2019ll be happy as a dog in a kennel. Growl if you agree. <\/span><\/p>\n

Who can blame them \u2013 They want to keep all the room envy for themselves. But it\u2019s time to flip the script on this man cave game, and there\u2019s only one way to get it done: <\/span>Together<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Redefining The Man Cave<\/span><\/h2>\n

The next time they try to sell you on an room concept featuring an overstuffed leather sectional with matching kegerator, let your inner designer out and say, \u201cDang, I think \u2013\u00a0honestly \u2013 I hate it.\u201d It\u2019s OK, in fact, it\u2019s <\/span>good <\/span><\/i>to strive for great design. One of the best things about having a well-designed space is the ability to invite people over without embarrassing yourself. Ultimately, it feels really good to have people over and know that they\u2019ll be impressed with how your place\u00a0feels. Because there\u2019s something about a well-designed space that makes people think, \u201cwow, this person\u2019s got their life together on all sorts of levels.\u201d So when you\u2019re breaking out of the man cave cage, remember:<\/span><\/p>\n
