The Touchstone 50'' Electric Wall Mounted Fireplace will make a strong design statement in your living room, family room or any room in your home. The electric fireplace delivers the beauty of a fireplace without the fire and smokey smell. There are 2 heat settings (high and low), and will heat a room up to 400 sq. ft. Also, the fireplace's flame can be used without the heating feature. The flames have 5 settings, from a subtle ember glow, to a full fire setting. You can set the flame intensity based on your mood or lighting in the room. All of the flame setting can be controlled by the included remote. You can also put the heat on the built in timer setting, where it will shut off between 30 minutes to 8 hours. It comes with three drywall screws. We do recommend placement high enough on the wall to hide the mounting hardware, yet low enough so you can use the heating function. We normally recommend placement at least 20 inches below your ceiling. In some instances customers have placed it under a wall mounted, flat screen television. This can create a nice look, but this will limit your heater use, so avoid mounting directly under a flat screen television.
