Author Michael Ochs, a veteran of the records industry, disc jockey, college professor and journalist, has compiled 1000 Record Covers â€” a selection of the best ever 60s to 90s rock album covers. For music lovers of a certain age, the covers address such issues as love, life, fashion and a particular time in their lives. Many of the covers are works of art as significant as the music on the vinyl they protected. It's a trip down memory lane for some, and an introduction to an often under-appreciated art form for those who've grown up in the digital age.
