Happy Monday! This week we are sharing a few of our favorite accent chairs for under $150. In my own personal experience with home design, adding color often means venturing out of my own comfort zone of neutrals. I find myself unintentionally buying my furniture and decor in earthy greys and blues. After throwing some spunky orange and navy pillows in the mix however, I received a notable increase in compliments on my living room space. Expand your design horizons today by considering some interior design pop-color rules of thumb:
1. The Bold Statement: Consider using one large and central piece of furniture in the room as a statement piece
2. The 60-30-10 Rule: 60% dominant color, 30% secondary color, 10% accent color
3. The Rule of Three: Place an accent color in 3 areas of a select room
