Spring is here! Would you believe it? Along with spring cleaning, comes spring decorating (or so we say!). You can transition your home between seasons with a few, simple, and fun changes that will make a big impact.

Here are our five easy steps for transitioning from winter to spring.before after 1

1. Swap out throw pillows and blankets.before after 2Decorating is all about a mix of textures and patterns. Winter brings cozy, warm furs and summer is for linens. We swapped our fur throw and shimmery pillows for a linen blanket and and bright blue-and-white patterned pillows for a big impact on a low budget.

2. Rearrange your coffee table books.before after 3This one is super easy—and not something that first comes to mind. We rearranged our coffee table books from dark-and-chic to bright-and-happy for a quick color pick-me-up.

3. Add some fresh blooms!before after 4We believe no home is complete without a fresh bouquet on the table. Add a bright bouquet in your favorite vase and voila, it’s spring!

4. Rearrange some furniture.before after 5Move things around. Start with the side tables—those are the easiest. We swapped a dark vintage trunk for some beige X benches for an instant refresh.

5. Buy a new rug.

If pillows weren’t enough, swap out that rug, too! We updated from a fur rug, which is cozy for winter, to a chevron area rug, which adds some fun for spring.
