It’s that time of year! If you haven’t added a dash of fall or Halloween decor to your home just yet, this is the weekend to do it. Many of us wish we had the time and artistic talent to create some of those incredible and intricate DIY decorations. I mean, have you seen these lace-patterned pumpkins? But, that doesn’t mean we can’t quickly add some stylish seasonal decor to our homes.

Try one of these 7 simple, but beautiful ways to decorate your home with pumpkins:

1. Coffee Table

Let’s face it, pumpkins and wood go together like cheese and wine. If you’re looking for a simple way to style your coffee table for fall, simply grab a wooden bowl, tray, or small crate and a handful of miniature pumpkins. The combo looks especially exquisite on top of a white table runner or placemat.

2. Front Porch or Mudroom

The distressed look is super hot in decor right now, so why not combine that approach with some seasonal style. All you need to do is purchase or paint 3 or 4 white pumpkins and arrange them on a distressed chair or a few wooden boxes or crates for a charming rustic look. We also love this collection of small orange pumpkins in an old wooden basket.

3. Mantel

Let’s state the obvious, shall we? Pumpkins have always looked exquisite on top of a mantel. it’s one of the easiest ways to incorporate fall into your home, and looks even better when you add candles! For a more minimalist or traditional look, purchase 3 to 6 medium-sized pumpkins that have a neutral color.

Why do front porches and mantels get to have all the fun? Pumpkins looks great in many places in our home and add a warm, earthy quality to the room. We love the simple and subtle addition of orange, white, or silver pumpkins to these bookcases.

This time of year, we invest a lot of time getting our home ready for guests. During the preparations, bathrooms often get a good cleaning, but rarely get styled for the season. White pumpkins paired with fresh flowers and gold accessories, are an easy and elegant way to style your bathroom for the season’s many visitors.
