We can’t get enough of Sara Azani, the petite Persian blogger who’s the brains behind Style MBA, a lifestyle blog about the business of fashion, beauty and decor.
An MBA graduate with a background in marketing and business, Sara has both business acumen and a love of fashion and design. Her mission is to share rare finds with her readers in a way that makes fashion both aspirational and attainable. We love following Sara’s style adventures on her Instagram, so we were thrilled to collaborate in the design of her Washington, D.C. home office. After all, the office is where all the blog magic happens!
After completing our Style Survey, we connected Sara with designer Diana B., who quickly assessed this professional blogger’s design vision.
“She’s hoping to warm up the space – Comfy for guests and inspiring while she works. Based on her inspiration photos, she is drawn to black, white and neutrals. Her style is timeless and modern. Given her fashion blog, she writes about her clothing and style and will need an open garment rack and mirror. Finding her key pieces to help create an office space that is effortless and, most importantly, organized.”
Like her personal style, Sara’s office features a chic, polished and minimalist aesthetic with complimentary black and white tones.
Sara didn’t want her new hubby to feel uncomfortable in a hyper-feminine space, so she and Diana focused on imbuing the space with a masculine vibe through contemporary walls and modern lines.
“Loving how the new design is incorporating existing pieces.” – Style MBA
