Ahhhh, it’s the weekend. You’re finally home from work, you’ve kicked off your shoes, you’re stretched out on your gorgeous sofa, and a nice cold drink sounds incredible. The only thing that would make this better is if your drink perfectly coordinated with your surroundings (I mean, we are design bloggers).
So, today’s cocktail of choice is Havenly’s original Ginger-Cilantro Margarita. It’s perfectly suited to your eclectic, bohemian space. Like your layered textiles, this delicious drink has depth (of flavor) from its gingery kick to its fresh, cilantro finish. You’re not afraid of color in your space, and neither is this drink, which features juice from three whole limes and looks best served in a hand-blown, artisanal glass. And, like the furniture you’ve accumulated from your worldly travels, this refreshment takes inspiration from far-off destinations. Here’s the recipe:
Ginger Cilantro Margarita
Ingredients:
6 sprigs cilantro
2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated fine
Juice from 3 limes
4 oz. white tequila
2 oz. triple sec
1 1/2 oz. ginger syrup
2 cups sparkling water
Ice
In a cocktail shaker, add the cilantro and ginger and muddle a bit to bruise the cilantro leaves. Add the lime juice, tequila, syrup, triple sec, 6 ice cubes, and water. Shaker and divide into glasses filled with ice and garnish with cilantro leaves.
Enjoy! Don’t worry, if your space isn’t quite as pulled together as your liquor cabinet, we can help.
