In case you missed it, the Havenly team designed a cheerful bedroom for one of our favorite bloggers– Julia Dzafic of Lemon Stripes. She blogged about the experience here. For those of you who are curious as to how this beautiful space came to be, here is a look at Julia’s design process.
Julia came to us with a $5000 budget and an eye for preppy-meets-glam decor. She was looking for a fresh perspective, after recently moving into her new Connecticut home. Julia began the Havenly experience through scheduling a call with our designer, Shelby. Throughout their call, Julia expressed her love for the Amalfi Coast. She loved the idea of bringing more color into her space, but didn’t know where to start. Shelby created a set of concept boards (or mood boards, as I like to call them) in addition to a final rendering to bring Julia’s vision to life.

Julia was thrilled with Havenly’s concept boards that she received within a week after her initial call with Shelby. She continued through the design process by choosing the first concept board, tweaking a few details, selecting different throw pillows and side tables. Here is the final rendering that Shelby presented:

Once the design was finalized, Julia was able to shop her design, all through the Havenly website. She loved how convenient the service was, and how she could find everything all in one place. Here is a glimpse inside Julia’s stunningly chic living room:
