I’ve always been a big fan of mirrored furniture, but thought that the beautiful pieces were out of my price range. Also, with this type of style, there is a fine line between outright Kardashian-like gaudiness (can’t you imagine Kim and Kanye living in an all mirrored-and-gilded bedroom?) and actual taste, so it’s best to find a few key pieces to accent your space, rather than buying an entire set of matching furniture.
I recently found a few affordable pieces that look much more expensive than they actually are, and both Lee and I have them in our bedrooms. These nightstands (from Target) only set you back $99.99 and come with free shipping! Target also has a few other mirrored pieces, including entryway and console tables.
One of my favorite online discount retailers, overstock.com, has a gorgeous accent table for $224.99, although the horse figurine on top is a little freaky…
Even Walmart.com has a pretty gorgeous coffee table, at $219. My only issue is that I personally like using my coffee table as a foot rest and I’m not sure that this one would be quite comfortable, but I’d take it anyway.
