We get to help friendly people design their dream rooms – every single day –  so it goes without saying that we have a lot to be thankful for. From pizza and puppies to family traditions and heirlooms, we’d like to share what we’re thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Lee Mayer

I’m thankful for:

  • The Havenly Team
  • Domino’s Pizza
  • My mom, who makes the best thanksgiving meals
  • Bacon
  • Wine, particularly malbec
  • My Restoration Hardware tufted sofa
  • Puppies

Sarah Miller

  • I’m thankful for stemless wine glasses – vino and gravity are not always friends, and the stemless glass sure does level the playing field
  • I’m thankful that each and every year animal print in not only in style, but also on trend
  • I’m thankful that Tom Brady, his piercing baby blue eyes, and the Patriots, were able to put deflate-gate behind them and crush the superbowl
  • I’m thankful for the popularity of the “mug cake”, because sometimes in life you need just one brownie, and need it in under two minutes flat
  • I’m thankful for Silento – I have yet to find a situation that I can’t “whip/nae nae” my way out of

Ninnah Hart

I am incredibly grateful for my husband. To cite a few reasons, he’s always there to give me a good laugh, pour me a beer when I’m glued to my computer working late and to share his technical expertise and advice.

Additionally, I’m thankful to have excellent neighbors. In a world where sometimes you don’t even know your neighbors’ names, my husband and I moved in next door to some really wonderful people after we relocated in January.

Rendl Clark

  • Who is in your life right now that you’re grateful for and why? My grandmother, she’s 95 and still telling us amazing stories about her childhood in Denmark!
  • Were you ever not grateful when maybe you should have been? – Skiing when I was little, I was terrible at sports, but have since learned to be very grateful for my dad’s love of snow, as opposed to beach.
  • List one piece of art, decor, or furniture that you couldn’t imagine having Thanksgiving without – My mother’s 1875 dining room table, it’s amazing, she decorates it beautifully, and we can always fit everyone around it!

Ashton Honnecke

I’m thankful that there’s a distinct and real possibility that the technological singularity might happen in my lifetime.

Mya McDuffie

I am grateful for all the new friends and colleagues I’ve met since moving to Colorado!

Cass Holdridge

Cass' Christmas Tree

My Mimi passed down this white ceramic christmas tree to my Dad when he became old enough to have family heirlooms, and my Dad passed it down to me several years ago. It is the one item I am the most excited to take out of its original (but falling apart) box, and light up. I think of my family every time I look at it, and reminds me how eternally thankful I am for such an amazing Dad!

Bianca Rossi

This year I am extremely thankful for my friends and family. I have had a tumultuous year dealing with the divorce of my parents and through it all, my family has stayed extremely close and my friends have been my rock, my closest confidants and strongest support systems.

I’m thankful for…

  • My faux-fur throw blanket, because curling up with it after eating way too much with friends and family is the best. Seriously, the best.
  • My Golden Retriever, Toby, who greets me every day after work with a tail wag and ecstatic tail-chasing
  • Red wine. Doesn’t really need an explanation.
  • Hot apple cider, because it’s the best way to stay cozy on a snowy day
  • My mom’s cornbread stuffing and cranberry sauce recipe. They are both a little off the beaten path, just like my mom.
  • My 89-year-old Italian grandpa, who is a Mensa genius and lets everyone know it, and who has the best recipe for spaghetti carbonara around.
  • The Havenly team, especially our designers. They create beautiful spaces for our clients every day. The only hard part is that I want to redecorate every time I see a new design!
  • This gif, because who doesn’t love a good turkey dance?

I am thankful for the opportunity to follow my dreams with an amazing company like Havenly! 🙂

Cori Sue Morris

I’m thankful for my mother, her patience and love, and her Pumpkin Chiffon pie.

Emily Motayed

This Thanksgiving,  I’m thankful for the team at Havenly, for helping to make what felt like a very crazy idea become a full blown company making thousands of clients happy with their homes.  I’m thankful for my momma, who still waits up for me and makes me a meal at 2 am when my flight back home is delayed. Also my Dad, for letting me use his Uber account and for generally being awesome. I’m thankful to Drinker’s Pub for knowing my name and drink order by heart, and also safeguarding my credit card when I leave it there. I’m thankful for the following apps: 1) domino’s pizza 2) postmates 3) gobutler. And most importantly, I’m thankful for our amazing supportive and wonderful clients, who are the reason we get up to go to work every day.

Abbie Wade

Number one, I’m thankful that I don’t have to drive to DTC everyday for work…. those poor, poor souls.

But on a more serious note, I’m extremely thankful for my family. I have two beautiful and supportive parents, a sister and two brothers that I believe were spun from pure gold. I’m thankful to be surrounded by heavy natural beauty and a group of friends and life that I feel so light and lucky to have in this weird, weird life. 🙂 🙂

Happy turks.

Shelby Girard

I’m thankful for the extremely hard working Havenly team and our talented designers across the country, for my friends and family, Chicago (oh how I’ll miss you), Spotify, pajamas, designer discounts, Homeland, flan, pepperoni pizza, and red wine.

I couldn’t imagine having Thanksgiving without a piece of my grandfather’s art in my apartment! My grandfather was an amazing artist, and I’ve been lucky enough to have various pieces of his throughout my apartments. My current favorite is timeless black and white abstract.

Jessie Dixon

This Thanksgiving I’m incredibly grateful for my 91 year old grandmother. As a child, her house was where our family gathered on all important holidays to laugh and break bread and generally feel at home.  Now, as the years pass, she joins our family table for this special day where my children can create more memories with “Grama Liz.”

Susannah Wardlow

  • My corn bag (flannel bag with deer corn that you heat in the microwave)
  • My personal chef/fiancé  who makes me breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day
  • Golden Retrievers
  • Red wine and champagne
  • Whoosh, the best screen cleaner ever
  • The smell of my parents house (especially when a fire is burning)
  • Google sheets
  • Seat heaters
  • Talenti gelato, specifically caribbean coconut
  • Small post-it notes (classic yellow)
  • Pilot® G-2™ Retractable Gel Pens in 0.05 mm (black ink)
  • Christmas trees

Erica Wegeler

My family, but specifically my nephew Gunnar.

Coffee.

Bravo: For the reassurance that if things were to ever take a particularly tough turn, there’s always the option to marry rich and become a housewife.

Having the opportunity to learn something new everyday!

Ice Cream or any sweet for that matter.

Sleep.

Finally, I couldn’t imagine a Thanksgiving dinner without my great-grandmother’s milk glass gravy boat. It’s a real beaut.

The Kitchen Table. This is one thing for which I am truly grateful. It is a space that welcomes all to come and gather. A place where community meets, friends become family, family become friends— bread broken and wine poured. The kitchen table is my favorite meeting place. This space becomes the main spectacle, particularly, on Thanksgiving. In my family, the kitchen table is the meeting point.  After the meal, conversation does not cease. Stories of years past are shared and generations are meshed together with laughter, tears, trials, and victories. Games are played that last hours. Memories are made that carry through until the next holiday gathering. Time tends to stop when I’m seated at the kitchen table. I am grateful for it and the promise of community that it carries.

Jason Fox

I’m thankful for not being a bratty kid anymore. I’m thankful for my mom’s car breaking down in Denver 20 years ago on our way to Florida – we never left. I’m thankful for every opportunity to look up at the moon. I’m thankful for my human perspective of our universe. And I’m thankful for the golden age of television, you know the one.

From our tables to yours, happy Thanksgiving!
