It’s about that time of the year again – when we (Lee and Emily) get to take over the blog for one day to give you guys a sneak peek into the inner workings of Havenly, the company! It’s been a few months since we checked in with you last, and we’ve seen some exciting growth and traction on a few different fronts.

Welcome Jessie & Ninnah! ||  Havenly

TEAM HAVENLY

We are so excited to have brought on two very awesome (and badass) people onto the Havenly team. Jessie Dixon is joining us from Walmart.com and ebags.com to run our operations. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge about e-commerce and marketplaces, and we are so excited that she’s on board. Jessie has been spending her free time over the last few months redecorating her house, and since she’s joined our team, has been teaching Lee the tips and tricks of sale shopping.

Ninnah Hart is joining us to run the technical side of our operations. Ninnah has been responsible for building the platform for another small start up, so we’re thrilled that she’s come over to join us.  Ninnah is in love with Italian Greyhounds (she has two!) and watches wayyyyy too much South Park (but who doesn’t?)!  Welcome to Havenly, Jessie and Ninnah!

EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING

As a start-up, we are always pushing to make our product even better than it could ever be. We have been listening to your feedback (thanks to everyone that’s contributing!), and have been building on that in order to make the Havenly platform even more beautiful and easier to use. Some of our customers may have noticed a brand new look once they log in (including a shopping cart that’s way more intuitive to use), which has been our main focus for the past few months.

We plan to reach out to a few of you personally to get even more in depth feedback on our product so that we can continue to serve your shopping and design needs better. On deck are more options for design services and even more product discovery, so you can realize the beautiful home of your dreams.

The response that we have gotten for Havenly has honestly been overwhelming. We have to thank all of you for spreading the word, giving us open feedback, and being willing to try us out. We’ll be working hard to make sure that we can service each and every one of you as you come in through our doors, as well as maintaining the high integrity of customer service that we have always made a priority.

We have also been so lucky to have gotten some fabulous organic press from some of our favorite publications! Washingtonian (we’re both DC gals) did a lovely feature on us in May, as well as the DenverPost, BuiltinColorado.com, AlleyWatch, and Popsugar earlier this year. We’re feeling the love, and keep spreading the word about us!
