The best cocktails are unusual—the ones you’d never decide to make after a long day at work. Inventive and little bit special is the name of the game for summer entertaining! In advance of the long weekend, we’re bringing you a recent favorite: the Pisco Sour. When’s the last time you ordered one? You might say it’s been a while. Here’s how to make a delicious version at home.
2 oz Pisco
1 oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
1 egg white
Angostura bitters
Add all ingredients except the bitters into a shaker with ice and shake thoroughly. Strain the mixture into a cold lowball glass over ice. Drop the bitters into the foamy top layer and swirl with a straw or toothpick for a stylish garnish.
Cheers!
