We were in tears all last week! Okay maybe not actual tears, but from April 5-10th the ultimate in interior design furniture and product markets took place in High Point, NC, and we weren’t able to be there! Yes, I’m talking about High Point Market. Why the FOMO? Just search for #HPMKT on Instagram and you’ll see (/ we guarantee you’ll feel it, too!).
Fortunately for all of us, our favorite design experts and bloggers were there to capture the whole thing for us! Shots upon shots of glorious showrooms.
One of our favorite recaps was that of Jeanne Chung– founder of popular blog Cozy Stylish Chic. She makes a number of observations (with photographic evidence!) as to where the home design trends are going including notes on big color combos, extreme variations in scale, and the fact that brass is back (ahem– why did it ever leave?!).

She was named by High Point Market as one of their official Style Spotters— they troll the market snapping photos of their favorite showrooms and identifying new trends of the season (not a bad gig)!
Another one of our favorite High Point Market 2014 Style Spotters is the ever glamorous Nicole Gibbons (check our her blog, So Haute). This uber glamorous interior designer has been featured on an impressive array of national design and lifestyle outlets including InStyle, HGTV, Lonny, and House Beautiful. Her #HPMKT Pinterest Board is overflowing with fabulous pieces– our top covets are below:

Of course, Apartment Therapy never lets us down– they were snapping pics of Statement Table Bases all week long! Scroll through them here! Finally, don’t forget to check out Liz Gray + HGTV’s rundown of the 10 Top Trends Spotted at High Point Market — they don’t leave a single agate-inspired stone uncovered!
Back to Nicole and Jeanne– thanks for snapping the best of the best– we almost feel like we were there. Emphasis on almost (sigh). Next year!
xx, Alana
