Kathryn S. had recently purchased an 1879 Carpenter’s Italianate home. The house design featured simple bones and had been expanded several times in its life. When a local interior designer pitched in on updating the kitchen, Kathryn was shocked at the exorbitant fees.
After following Havenly on Instagram, she decided that $199 for a Complete Room Design Experience was just about the right budget to justify trying something new. And so Kathryn made the leap, synched up with designer Griffin C., and their Havenly redecorating adventure began.

Living Room
“Griffin incorporated furniture that we had and loved, and helped us expand the room and furniture selections in a way that makes people say ‘wow’ as soon as they walk in the front door. We once hated this room and did not know what to do with it. Now it’s our favorite room in the house. We love sitting with friends and family having a drink, talking, and hanging out. I love playing the piano in this space.”

Even though she’d redecorated the kitchen with a local interior designer, Kathryn was so excited about the success of the living room redecoration that she decided to give the kitchen another shot. We’re thrilled she did: The results are lovely!

“Our powder room is accessed through the kitchen and we wanted it to be bright and colorful like our kitchen, and reflect that kids live here! We love the fish theme and Griffin’s ideas allowed us to update it without doing construction.”
