Working from home has numerous benefits–higher employee satisfaction, increased productivity, less traffic, the list goes on. While the idea of powering through your tasks in the comfort of your bed sounds appealing, work-at-home veterans understand the importance of creating a professional home office.

Here are three home office spaces designed with the perfect work from home environment in mind.

The mother of two boys, Havenly client Katy, is in the process of building her forever home. She came to Havenly interior designer Elizabeth Wyder in hopes of designing a space that was all her own where she didn’t need to worry about being too “girly.”

Katy explained that she loved the freedom of eclectic and bohemian designs, and wanted to include statement pieces that didn’t necessarily need to be accessorized. She and Elizabeth collaborated and decided on the Perigold writing desk and this sleek sideboard from Article to match.

When Elizabeth showed Katy the Corbyn accent chairs from Anthropologie, it was love at first sight.

Next on Elizabeth’s list was to find a rug and artwork to match. Katy’s office was the first place she could hang her rose-colored glasses print, which Elizabeth chose to modernize with some photography.

If like Katy you lean eclectic and bohemian, shop her design on Havenly.

Havenly interior designer Annie Mueller helped her client Jenna, No Whey Lady blogger. As her business continued to grow, she realized she needed a dedicated space within her San Francisco loft.

Annie turned Jenna’s large entryway into an organized, multi-functional workspace. Among Jenna’s top priorities was finding an office desk fit with shelving that would allow her to consult new clients and easily unbox packages. This floating desk and bookcase combo does the trick.

Rather than juxtapose dark furniture on Jenna’s crisp white walls, Annie kept it light, both in terms of the furniture and accessories.

This design’s success is in its thoughtful details. This boho rug from Surya adds softness and Lulu and Georgia mirror opposite the desk reflects light. Everything Annie sourced has a purpose and use for Jenna. Art and other decor items made the office space feel personal and styled. Jenna also used Havenly to design her living room, which you can check out here.

Havenly interior designer Robyn Pleggenkuhle helped her client Jason go from blank slate to beautiful home office. Despite the room’s small size, Jason wanted an office set up both he and his wife could occupy. His goal was to achieve a professional yet homey atmosphere.

To achieve a built-in appearance for less, Robyn knew the Oxford home office and storage collection from Home Depot would do the trick.

Jason also explained that it was also important for the office to lend itself as a storage space for overnight guests, so Robyn added a storage bench from Wayfair.

To give the space an airy feel, Robyn suggested a floating desk in the middle of the room. Since both sides are finished, Jason can set chairs on either side.
