The Negroni is a classic for a reason— it’s hard to make a bad version of the bittersweet drink. But, a really delicious iteration of the faithful recipe requires the right combination of vermouth and gin. Here’s how:
1 1/4 ounces gin
1 1/4 ounces sweet vermouth
Orange twist, to garnish
The Negroni is so simple you could make it in your sleep. Combine equal parts gin, Campari, and vermouth in a shaker with ice. Strain into a lowball glass with filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a twist of orange!
The best part? The ratio of ingredients is the same no matter how many glasses you make. For a big party just select a larger vessel to stir your ingredients with ice.
Cheers!
