Do you ever find yourself regretting the ‘yes’ RSVP but living it up despite yourself the moment you arrive? Whether it’s handing out business cards/your phone number, or making new acquaintances LOL, sometimes you just need to throw yourself into the mix and let your personality do all the work.
We curated a mix of personality-driven specialty drinks for you this season. Which guest are you?
Tall Glass of Water
You know this cocktail is called ‘Ranch Water’ in Texas, but you also know that you’re the best dressed in the room.
Tequila (2 oz)
Lime juice (splash)
Lime for garnish
Add tequila and lime to a (tall) glass of ice and top off with cold Topo Chico. Garnish with a slice of lime.
Breath of Fresh Air
You’re a bit offbeat, but in a fun way. You prefer a cocktail with a little fresh ginger because you’re into that sort of thing.
Barrow’s Intense Ginger Liqueur Ginger (.5 oz)
Sparkling Wine or Champagne (4 oz)
Pear Juice (about 1.5 oz)
No need to shake this one—just add the ginger liqueur to a champagne glass (duh) with sparkling wine and top with the pear juice. Garnish with a slice of ginger.
You make cocktail parties easy for the introverts. We made you an orange-y margarita, because a marg makes everyone talk talk talk!
Tequila (2 oz)
Grand Marnier (1 oz)
Orange juice (1 oz)
Splash of lime juice
Orange peel garnish
Add the tequila, Grand Marnier, orange juice and lime to a shaker with ice. Shake and serve with ice and a garnish.
Stage 5 Clinger
A purple cocktail is generally a red flag but Stage 5 Clingers know what they want and what they want is purple!.
Bombay gin (2 oz)
Luxardo liqueur (½ oz)
Crème de Violette (¼ oz)
Lemon juice (½ oz)
Lemon peel garnish
Add gin, Luxardo, Crème de Violette and lemon juice to a shaker with ice. Shake and serve with garnish.
