Fall is fast approaching, and whether you’re roasting marshmallows, warming your hands, or maybe just listening to the gentle, ASMR crackle of flames, fire pits are a fun and affordable way to experience the great outdoors from your own backyard. And if you don’t have a backyard? Fret not. We’ve rounded up fire pits and accessories great for every type of space—even indoors.

A fire pit can be the centerpiece of a backyard and a natural place for friends and family to congregate during fall. Purchase a few outdoor chairs, and layer in your own personal style through cozy accents like outdoor pillows and blankets.

Looking for a rustic, farmhouse vibe? Try this cute, affordable option paired with Buffalo plaid accents and classic Adirondack chairs. If your style is more modern or minimalist, this sleek fire pit table or a similar rounded version would pair well with oversized gray lounge chairs.

Apartment or condo dwellers can still enjoy fire pits—albeit on a smaller scale. Try a small outdoor fireplace or a chimenea to create instant ambience. For seating, we like multipurpose, extra-comfy bean bag poufs in a neutral linen hue. Use them inside as ottomans or floor loungers, then pull them out when you’re ready for a fire; they’re lightweight for easy moving.

This chimenea brings warmth and ambience in bronze tones, or you can add a subtly Spanish feel by using a more rustic, black chimenea. Similarly, this small outdoor fireplace incorporates metallic tones, while this one is rendered in solid black.

While you can’t have a full-blown fire pit, you can recreate the mood by using a tabletop fire pit or fire bowl. These small-scale versions pack a visual punch and are a fun conversation-starter for casual dinner parties. S’mores for dessert, anyone?

This stone tabletop fire bowl adds a zen quality to the tabletop, as does this one rendered in darker tones. For a simple, sleek look, try this glass and stainless steel lampada

This small, simple U-shaped firewood rack works both indoors and out. Whether your indoors or out, fall is high time for cozying up under soft blankets. For an affordable pick suitable for outdoor use, the Mina throw blanket comes in cool tones, warm tones and a neutral ivory.
