After six-plus months of grey, overcast skies and barren landscapes, even diehard minimalists can appreciate a spring-ready pop of color. Just as a tulip bloom or a budding tree can lift spirits, a well-placed pop of sunny yellow or dusty rose indoors can seriously brighten your mood.

So, if you’re still deciding which warm-weather hues to embrace come May, you’re in the right place. Havenly designer Kelsey Fischer is sharing the color palettes she’s leaning into for spring, from classic pink and green to dusty shades of green and blue. Whether you’re looking for something unexpected (copper and blue) or traditional in the best way (crisp yellow), there’s a little something for everyone.

And now for the fun part: check out Kelsey’s spring color trends below.

1. Copper & Blue

We’ve been seeing a lot of copper and blue combinations ahead of spring 2022, and we love the unique warm-cool mix. From rich jewel tones to light, powdery blues, this color combo feels particularly fresh and warm-weather appropriate.

2. Pale Pink & Green

Spring color trends

This classic Tulip-inspired color palette has spring written all over it. While it’s a traditionally preppy color combo (instant Lilly Pulitzer energy), it’s making a comeback by way of subtle, nuanced shades of saturated sage and soft rose.

3. Pops of yellow

We know what you’re thinking: Yellow for spring? Groundbreaking. But we honestly love how unabashedly spring this sunny hue is — yellow is an instant mood-lifter, whether on the walls or in the decor. Add pops of yellow via artwork, throw pillows, or even gold finishes. If you really want to brighten your space in a fresh and interesting way, consider our exclusive citrus-forward wallpaper.

4. Earthy Greens

These aren’t your Easter Sunday greens — we’re talking super-soft shades of sage, evergreen, and forest green that lend a delicate, nature-inspired touch to any space. These subtle striped drapes are a perfect example of a simple, easy, and supremely impactful way you can make minor decor swaps to embrace a new season.

5. Pops of Fuschia

While less is more with this bold hue, we can’t help but love a spirited pop of fuschia for spring. For an instant seasonal mood lifter, add a pink punch via artwork, flowers, or throw pillows – but remember to keep the furniture neutral for a more balanced appeal.

6. Coral & Peach Tones

Spring color trends

To give your space an instant vacation home vibe, lean into coral and peachy tones. We’re especially loving the muted side of the coral color range — like this warm, airy statement wall. When done right, it almost leans terracotta.

7. Dusty Greens & Blues

Level up your golden hour with beautiful dusty shades of blue, green, and aquamarine. We love how muted and soft these colors are, and they really sing when paired with warmer tones like cognac and cabernet.
