We’ve been scrolling our Instagram feeds furiously in search of fresh inspiration for the best season of the year. We thought it would be fun to share what’s making its way into our saved folders lately. Read on for our latest inspiration and obsessions.

yellow kitchen tile

The earthy, almost Pewabic style tile on the dramatic backsplash is really reminding us how much we love yellow. Paired with the deep green on the island, this feels like such a fresh take on a palette that usually leans French-country.

80s bathroom

We’re big fans of JPEGfantasy, an Instagram account that catalogues the outrageous design sensibility of the 1980s and ’90s. While we aren’t trying to recreate any of these looks per se, they serve as a constant reminder that design is meant to be fun.

pattern mixing bedroom

This feature in Architectural Digest has us feeling all-in on color and pattern. We love the way this home mixes together bright colors, and particularly the way this bedroom still feels restful despite a riot of prints. That headboard has us cooking up DIY ideas already.

simple pottery shelves

This image from Brass Tacks This image from Brass Tacks (aka Lisa Pryzstup) makes us want to throw away all of our clutter and replace it with beautifully handcrafted pottery. While we might not be able to part with all of our accumulated ephemera, we’ll be using this image as inspiration the next time we rearrange our bookshelves.

Blue feels like the perfect antidote to hot summer days, and we’ve been seeing beautiful shades all over the place. The bright, saturated pastel of these chairs is staying top of mind, though. It’s such a modern shade and injects some panache into an otherwise traditional room.
