Paint Color Ideas By Style

Classic

For a classic look, choose a light and airy neutral that lets your furniture and decor take center stage. Classic Gray (that one was a little too easy, huh?) is the perfect warm-hued grey-beige that goes well metallic accents like gold, antiqued brass, and mercury glass.

Coastal

If you could capture the color of a sea breeze, this would be it! Wedgewood Gray is the quintessential calm, washed out blue for any coastal space. To round out the coastal look, pair this wall color with whitewashed furniture, natural fiber rugs like jute and seagrass, and crisp white linens.

Scandinavian

In a more Scandinavian-inspired space, choose a mid-toned gray like Chelsea Gray. This shade has just the right amount of warmth to keep a room from looking too sterile and pairs well with everything from more rustic live edge wood pieces to chrome and acrylic.

Contemporary

For a warm and inviting contemporary look, choose a greige color like Pale Oak and pop it with a dark trim color, like Black Bean Soup. Highlighting your trim in a darker color highlights the architectural structure of your space. Complete the look with geometric patterned textiles, rich taupe, ivory, and grey upholstery fabrics, and accents of chrome.

Preppy

Ready to go deep? Hale Navy is our go to navy paint because it makes a bold statement, yet still feels classic and timeless, especially when paired with crisp white trim. For a preppy look, be sure to mix in bold stripes, gingham, brass accents, and a bouquet of pink peonies.

Eclectic

At the heart of any eclectic room is a bold sense for color and pattern. To let your mix-and-match style really shine, choose a light neutral like Quiet Moments, which reads like a light pale blue, but still feels like a neutral. To finish out the space, choose bold accents like emerald, navy, and pink paired with metallic pieces and richly patterned textiles.

Bohemian

Looking for the perfect shade of blush for your feminine boho retreat? Tissue Pink is a peachy hued pink that serves as the ideal backdrop for a richly patterned rug and perfectly worn in leather upholstery. Add in global inspired patterns and rich velvet upholstery for a look that feels comfy and curated.
