Cutting edge modernism mixed with “contemporary western” is the signature approach for many interior designers in Denver, CO.
ROOMS DESIGNED BY HAVENLY
In the family-oriented Bonnie Brae neighborhood, designers are creating spaces for the modern family using glam metallic accents, warm neutrals, and farmhouse doors as statement pieces. Older homes in Cherry Hill have designers inspired by Long Island’s Hampton’s and here they effortlessly combine modern classic with traditional Colorado styles.
HAVENLY INTERIOR DESIGNERS
Designers are taking urban LoDo lofts and giving them an “alpine modern” appeal with contemporary rustic woods that create a warm industrial yet sophisticated space. From downtown to Platt Park North to uptown and everything in between, Denver’s talented designers are bringing the city’s homes into the 21st century.
No matter the specific aesthetic, I love marrying form and function in an attempt to create spaces that feel elegant, enlivened, easy and engaging. I enjoy partnering with my clients to pull together different style inspirations with the needs of their space to create a look and feel that's all their own.
I love design that is deeply personal: mixing and matching textures, color and styles to fit the needs of the space (and the people spending time in it). Including vintage accents in a contemporary bedroom or modern finishes in a traditional den can make a statement and a memorable experience.
I love the modern farmhouse aesthetic that has become popular over the last 5 years. This is the style I use to decorate my own home and I love how flexible it is. I think it is a great combination of new and old and allows you to have a wide variety of styles and colors in your space without having to stick to strictly one furniture type, etc.
My design aesthetic is best described as eclectic. I believe that all spaces can, and should, be beautiful, comfortable, functional, and welcoming. I feel these elements can be achieved in any space by combining styles and elements that align with the client’s taste and desires, while accentuating the individuality of their space. I love to create definition through organic asymmetry and movement, with well-used color and beautiful objects that balance and add visual interest.
I love a minimalist design with clean lines and functional design. I love the approach of everything serves a purpose especially in small spaces. Mixing textures, adding color or a super fun wallpaper and highlighting natural light will make the space warm and inviting!
My favorite design aesthetic would be a cohesive, artful, well-designed space that exudes comfort, peace, and positivity. I like artistic touches with the balance of minimal and clean lines. The key elements include color, pattern, texture, and the visual weight of scale and proximity. "Less is always more", and a good design aesthetic creates a bond that will go beyond the initial interaction.
Although constantly evolving, my favorite design aesthetic is currently farmhouse modern with a bit more of an urban flare. I feel like this style allows for many elements that are important to me such as architectural detail, foliage and natural textures. I love cozy spaces that are light and airy, mixing textures and patterns as well as adding modern art to make a space really pop.
My go-to styles are Midcentury Modern and Scandinavian. I love neutral tones with pops of colors and textures. I also think these styles mesh so well with Bohemian and Global inspired accents, and lots of throw pillows!
