ROOMS DESIGNED BY HAVENLY
From Central Texas rustic to sophisticated contemporary, designers of Hill Country homes seamlessly add rough wood and metal accents or minimalist and classic looks in keeping with the aesthetic of each individual home. The earthy colors of the Spanish Mediterranean homes found around Austin allow designers to play with natural colors and culturally traditional elements while mixing in modern accents.
One of my favorite design aesthetics is Scandinavian. While I love creating elegant, moody spaces and experimenting with cool tones and deep colors, there is nothing like coming home to a clean, crisp home full of clean lines, fresh plants, and cozy accents.
My aesthetic really varies based on the intended function of the space and the people who live in it. I'm all about comfort and functionality without sacrificing style. I tend to gravitate toward clean, uncluttered designs and a neutral color palette but I'm not afraid to throw in some color here and there.
Aesthetics, mood boards, palettes and themes are just a few of my favorite things! From boho chic to glitz and glam, I love any interior that is inviting, warm and flows! A home must be personal and a true reflection of our individuality. I love seeing how personal styles are reflected in the spaces we spent the most time in.
My favorite design aesthetic is farmhouse. Growing up in Texas I've seen a lot of this style in homes. Many colors can be used when designing this style which is what makes it fun to create. I also enjoy the flexibility that goes along with it. One can have a farmhouse style but adjust it to be more rustic or modern depending on preference. This style can be designed in multiple ways which makes it challenging and fun.
I love starting with timelessly designed pieces and mixing in more personal style, whether that is contemporary, rustic, or coastal, to create an eclectic spin on a classic style that is unique without being trendy.
My design focus is on selecting appropriate furniture pieces, correct sized drapes and artwork, and the perfect rug that anchors the space. Then we can add fun accessories and pillows! And of course a few plants!
