What color do you dream in?
I’m fairly certain designers John Knott and John Fondas dream in bold, beautiful BLUE. Knott took the words right out of my mouth in this House Beautiful interview when he stated that “the whole room looks like a wrapped gift.” Well, John & John, you are invited as gift-bearing guests-of-honor to every one of my celebratory affairs– because this living room in your Maine summer house is simply euphoric. As someone who typically gravitates toward more minimalist interiors, I was so pleasantly taken aback by the pattern play in this design. It feels preppy, cozy, bright and unafraid– what more could you want in a summer home?
