Elizabeth T. of the family travel blog Poshbrood needed to design a delightful space for her au pair. Havenly was eager to help. We paired the travel maven with designer Eve K. (who you might remember from the Championships of Design Madness). It didn’t take long for the redesign duo to come up with a couple chic bedroom designs.
An Au Pair’s Chic Bedroom Abode
Personality In Design
“My favorite part of this is the turquoise dresser and cool lamp on bedside table!!” – Elizabeth T.

Remaining true to Elizabeth’s aesthetic of mid-mod tastes and neutral palette leanings, Eve put together two design concepts that embodied a sense of sophistication and warmth.
Refining The Design
“…laying out a room, arranging furniture and making it all cohesive is not in my DNA. I needed help. And fast.” – Elizabeth T.

As Elizabeth and Eve discussed furniture and decor preferences, the room’s final design began to take shape. After identifying a few favorite elements and eliminating what wasn’t working, the design pair arrived on this final design rendering. Not too shabby, eh?
