While supermodel Ashley Graham is a master of strutting on the runway and slaying photoshoots, she’s self-admittedly more of a novice when it comes to interior design. So when she and her film director husband Justin Ervin purchased a Brooklyn apartment for their growing family, she needed some help achieving her desired aesthetic.
Luckily, Graham knew just where to go for assistance. She reached out to Havenly to outfit the space in a relaxed-yet-sophisticated look full of neutral hues and organic textures. “The goal was to give an elevated feel without losing coziness or approachability,” explains lead designer Kelsey Fischer.
The catch? A tight timeline, so custom and backordered products were out of the question. Fischer swiftly curated kid-friendly pieces that are chic enough for a fashion industry titan. Here’s how she did it.
Getting Comfortable
Graham wanted a serene sanctuary for her main bedroom, which Fischer delivered with a low-slung, Russian oak platform bed and a matching nightstand that features plenty of book storage to accommodate the couple’s voracious reading. The reclaimed wood dresser hails from the same Restoration Hardware collection, creating a cohesive, spa-like vibe.
The tranquility continues in the living area, where an armless, ivory sectional offers pillowy cushions for ultimate lounging. The best part, though, is the wide ledge along the back of the sofa that allows Graham to rest her drink out of her son Isaac’s reach, as she so candidly points out in her tik tok home tour, recently featured in Architectural Digest.

Graham and Ervin’s personalities are infused throughout the home, with a salvaged antique bench-turned-media console, a tall bookshelf filled with beloved bowls alongside a Mr. Potato Head cameo, and both a carved wooden side table and pouf collected from the duo’s travels. “I love finding ways to integrate unique items that carry meaningful memories,” Fischer gushes.
Nesting In Style
With a toddler and another baby on the way, Graham needed a timeless, gender-neutral nursery for her brood. To keep the style consistent with the rest of the apartment, Fischer paired an elegant brass crib with a light oak dresser that currently does double duty as both clothing storage and a changing table. “The piece can grow with their family, giving them longevity of function,” she explains.
Pops of whimsey like a mobile, stuffed animals, and illustrated art keep the room playful, but the oversized plush giraffe is not just a fun toy — it’s a celebrity kid must-have. The safari-fueled focal point has been spotted in the homes of Kourtney Kardashian and Nicky Hilton, so it’s no surprise that fashion royalty like Graham would have one.
Going Glam
On top of spots to unwind, entertain, and parent, Graham required a place dedicated to work. Fischer crafted a luxurious glam room where she could get red carpet-ready, conduct Zoom interviews, and host fittings. A Hollywood-style mirror and director’s chair are ideal for hair and makeup, while a soft trundle daybed provides a seat for guests and can also sleep members of her team overnight. Much like in the rest of the home, soothing colors and natural materials accomplish the inviting, lived-in atmosphere of Graham’s original vision.
