Who’s in the mood for love… and a romantic pink room design to match? Whether it’s a glossy magenta accent wall, a set of blush silk drapes, or a pop of pink in the form of a throw pillow, nothing makes us feel appreciation for all things feminine and romantic quite like this charismatic color family.
We love a good Valentines-inspired color palette (perhaps more than the actual holiday itself). Hopefully the following selection of pink room designs put you in the mood for love – or at least in the mood to redecorate, since you never know when a room design will steal your heart away.
Jessica’s Soft and Sweet Blush Pink Bedroom Design
When Havenly designer Amy F. worked with Jessica to bring her vision of Parisian chic gold accents blended with girl-next-door style to life, we never dreamed that the result would be quite so charming. This pink room design is simultaneously inviting and decadently sweet – like a literal box of sweetheart candies transformed into decor. Bonus points for adding in hints of beige and gold to bring everything together (because what girl doesn’t like a little bling on Valentine’s Day?).
Caroline’s Classy D.C. Condo Design
Speaking of gold accents, we couldn’t possibly forget about this stunning pink room design that designer Elizabeth H. pulled together for her client, Caroline. Utilizing pink as a neutral in the apartment, Elizabeth let some of the more sculptural pieces like the acrylic coffee table and statement floor lamp speak for themselves. The overall living room look is one we’re totally envious of – a perfect space to sit back and relax before heading off to dinner and a movie. Date night, anyone?
Mara’s Hot Pink Office Oasis Design
We love working with clients who want to decorate boldly, as in this room we did with Mara of M Loves M. She worked with Ann F. to battle the dysfunction of her original space and clear out the clutter that was preventing her from using the room the way it was intended. Playing off the bold graphic artwork of fresh pink blooms and a modern black abstract, she pulled in multiple shades of pink with light blush drapes and a deeper magenta rug that pulls the entire space together. Be still, our beating hearts! We might be in love.
Jenna’s Sophisticated Pink Guest Bedroom
Going pink doesn’t have to mean jumping off the deep end into a pool of bubblegum bliss. We’re big advocates of using cooler blush shades as a neutral instead of grey/white, and this approach to design resonated with Jenna from Visions of Vogue while she was redesigning her guest bedroom. Her designer Stafford incorporated textures like velvet and gold foil to really bring out the elevated aesthetic of the blush tones, making the room feel grown-up and sophisticated instead of youthful or childlike. The result is a pink room design that feels both polished and modern, for even the most worldly of guests that might need a place to stay.
