I love the coastal aesthetic—it's fresh, airy, and effortlessly inviting. It embraces light, neutral tones like sandy beige, crisp whites, and ocean blues, often paired with natural materials like driftwood, rattan, and linen. The look is casual yet refined, bringing a sense of tranquility and openness. Whether inspired by tropical beaches or classic New England shores, coastal design captures the essence of waterfront living with a timeless, calming charm.
I love designing with a transitional design aesthetic-- blending classic, traditional styles with fresh, updated touches, creating spaces that feel inviting, balanced, and personal.
Currently, I'm completely enthralled by a cozy, eclectic and traditional style. I've always been fascinated by mixing of textures and prints, but I'm so glad to see this bold style and color is back in fashion! To me, it makes even a modern space feel warm and homey. However, since I recently moved to near Charleston, my personal home is a mix of fun color and classic coastal.
My personal design aesthetic is a very well-balanced combination of classic French Baroque design elements, as well as modern forms seen from the Art Nouveau era in design, and a bit of the 70s/80s post-modernism. I am aware it is very Niche, but I truly believe you interweave any styles together if you have a strong sense of the elements and principles of design!
I’m inspired by a design aesthetic that balances timeless elegance with a touch of modernity. It’s a blend of natural materials, such as wood and stone, paired with soft, earthy tones to create a calm and inviting atmosphere.
I love incorporating mid-century modern influences with their sleek lines and iconic pieces, enhanced by bohemian touches that add warmth, texture, and individuality. This combination creates spaces that feel both curated and lived-in, reflecting a unique story.
I enjoy and have experience designing for all styles. That being said, my ideal space is a Parisian apartment infused with Mid-Century Modern and Glam. Think modern furniture, mixed metals, pattern-play, and carefully curated color all grounded with some fabulous hardwood floors, preferably in a herringbone pattern. My vibe is definitely classic-meets-modern with an edgy, glamorous twist.
My design aesthetic is best described as colorful transitional living — a balance of livable comfort and timeless style that blends traditional and modern influences. I love working with color, pattern, and texture to create spaces that feel both beautiful and practical, where everyday living meets thoughtful design.
My design approach is versatile, blending modern and more traditional styles to create timeless, inviting spaces. I like mixing textures for depth, combining organic forms with clean lines, and incorporating pops of color as well as combining patterns. I believe every space should narrate something special, reflecting its owner's story and personality. Ultimately, I aim to create stylish, serene environments that feel both personal and meaningful.
My favorite design aesthetic is a mix of vintage Eclectic with a sprinkle of Classic that has a functional and homey Transitional flair! I am also happy designing with other styles, such as Vintage and Minimal. I love a space where I can mix classic and timeless pieces with modern or eclectic unexpected statement pieces to fully encapsulate all the possibilities of the client's space. I like spaces that tell a story with the use of patterns, textures, and pops of colors.
