I love a neutral tone room because it will always feel timeless and elegant. I think of it like a blank canvas that you can change occasionally, on a low budget; for example, just by adding new throw pillows or by accessorizing your coffee table. I am all about including statement pieces in areas such as the living room; it will help elevate the place and create the feeling that your home is unique. Plants are also a must; they bring so much life!
Japandi and Mid-Century Modern are my favorites for their simplicity, functionality, and timeless elegance. I love Japandi's serene minimalism and natural elements and at the same time, I love Mid-Century Modern's sleek lines and organic forms.
I personally like the styles that bring natural elements or references to nature into the space, such as Scandinavian, Farmhouse, and Midcentury Modern.
My favorite aesthetic design is a combination of contemporary and modern styles, with elements that harmonize while generating movement within the space, which introduces modular and accent elements that interact with each other.
I prefer the mid-century modern style. Its functionality, simple shapes, clean lines, and use of natural elements gives the space great versatility and naturality.
Dopamine design is my absolute favorite aesthetic because it's all about creating spaces that evoke joy, excitement, and positivity. This design style taps into the brain's pleasure center, making you feel instantly uplifted and energized when you step into a room. Dopamine design allows for endless creativity and personalization, so you can truly make your space a reflection of your unique personality and taste. It's like a burst of happiness every time you walk through the door!
I've developed a deep appreciation for blending various styles—such as modern, Scandinavian, contemporary, MCModern and minimalism—into cohesive and harmonious spaces. This approach offers a multitude of benefits, designing from modern style provides a foundation of clean lines, functionality, and sophistication. This serves as a canvas for layering other styles with elements that brings warmth, simplicity, and a connection to nature.
My favorite interior design style is Modern Midcentury because of the harmonious and balanced palette of colors it offers, as well as the use of natural elements that add a sense of calmness and sensitivity to a space.
To enhance the warmth and welcoming atmosphere, I love to incorporate elements of Bohemian style, which introduce pops of color and textures. The combination of these styles creates spaces with a perfectly cozy and inviting ambiance.
My personal design aesthetic has changed over the years. I have always loved mid century modern and modern clean lines - that has not changed! However my work experience has pushed me to see the beauty in very traditionally designed spaces. Now, I love and can appreciate all design aesthetics whether they match my personal tastes or not.
I have worked with many different styles over the years and have enjoyed working with them all. But for my style, I would have to say Mid- Century Modern with a touch of Bohemian. I love the style, clean lines, and bold colors from the Mid- Century but it’s the mixing of different patterns and textures that attracts me to the boho side.
