Best Sellers for a Reason

This poor little thing has been through too much for me to return it. The plant arrived in a banged up box with dirt spilling out. From the scale of the picture in the "concept" for my room, I believed "8"" referred to the diameter of the pot, and that the pot would be large enough for a floor plant. Instead, the little pot-bound plant arrived in a 3" diameter pot with this little 4" plastic pot in the same box. I don't have the heart to return this, but it is not worth the price, and the picture is misleading as was the picture in the context of the other furniture in the concept. The UPS delivery person tossed the box on my doorstep, adding insult to injury for the final leg of this little plant's journey. It was clearly trapped in a too-small pot for too long because the roots are all leggy and encircling the tap root. I added potting soil (so little was left), gave it some water and some sun, and I'm sure it will grow up to be what I imagined it to be on arrival.
