In our book, “homebody” is basically a personality type. From a deep love of puzzles, board games, and movie nights to an affinity for PJ sets, robes, and slippers, homebodies are basically professional nesters, and we’re absolutely here for it.

If you have a couple of proud home hermits on your holiday shopping list, you’ve come to the right place. From eye masks and throws to teapots and chess sets, our design editor Heather Goerzen has curated an on-point list of creature comforts for the 2021 holiday season.

Without further ado, this one goes out to everyone with an overstuffed pajama drawer and roughly five to seven robes in constant rotation. Happy shopping, and happy holidays!

gifts for homebodies
  1. Design the Home You Love ($33): Written by the one and only Lee Mayer, our co-founder and CEO! This book includes all the real life inspiration and practical styling tips you need to design a home you can actually live in.
  2. Ceramic Mugs ($75): Handcrafted in Mexico, these ceramic mugs add artisanal beauty to your morning coffee routine. We love the easy-to-hold shape, naturally flecked glaze, and minimalist color scheme.
  3. Plaid Throw Blanket ($129): When we picture cozy holiday cuddles, it’s with this plaid throw (and a cup of cocoa). The color scheme is incredibly versatile, while plaid cues timeless winter vibes.
  4. Wood Candle Holders ($55): These handcrafted candlestick holders are absolutely timeless and lend an artisan touch to any home. Gift as a solo accent, or mix and match sizes and colors for a full set.
  5. Modern Teapot ($70): Give the gift of never-ending comfort with a teapot. We love the modern matte black for a stylish twist — this is definitely stovetop display-worthy.
  6. Artisan Vase ($48): As any homebody knows, flowers can make a space feel that much more beautiful. Help them show off their stems with this on-trend artisan vase. The sculptural silhouette feels fresh, while the neutral hue works across styles and palettes.
  7. Faux Fur Throw ($179): The most cuddle-worthy of throws, this is our go-to faux fur number with intricate ruched detail and crisp ivory hue. Of course, it’s luxuriously soft.
  8. Marble Chess Set ($100): The ideal perfect night in: a crackling fire, a hot toddy, and a game of chess played on this stylish set.
  9. Shearling Slippers ($99): We’re calling it: 2022 is the year for shearling. Help your loved ones step into it in style with these on-trend slippers. It’s like walking in a cloud.
  10. Milk Frother ($210): Gift them the ability to whip up lattes and cafe au laits, all from the comfort of their own home. Bonus: this Smeg beauty was basically made for prime countertop real estate.
  11. Silk Eye Mask ($50): Nothing says “stay home and sleep in” quite like a luxurious silk sleep mask. Opt for a neutral hue to complement every PJ set.
  12. Bath Caddy ($80): Nothing says “stay in and wind down” like a bubble bath. This live edge wood tray will keep all of their creature comforts at hand, from the wine and chocolate to the novel and face mask.

And of course, you can never go wrong with gifting design magic. Give them a gift card for a Havenly design package, and invite them to a fun and personalized online experience as they enjoy a room glow-up.
