Fall is a wonderful time of year to consider refreshing the vibe of any home. After a summer spent outdoors, it’s time to turn in for the season, meaning renewed focus on your interiors. But, fall decor can get a bit cliche. Don’t let the classic color schemes hem you in. Instead, we’ve compiled three color palettes that feel fresh and new for fall.

burnt orange color scheme

This warm tone is exactly what you need to warm up your space for fall. It reminds us of spiced drinks and autumn leaves. In velvet, the shade feels like a sophisticated version of deeper reds. A color with deep historic roots, we think burnt orange is back and here to stay.

Olive green was one of our favorite colors for summer but it’s also perfect for fall. Transition it for the season with heavier textures and pair it with other deep jewel tones for a festive but unexpected look.

Labor Day has come and gone but winter whites are here to stay. We love pairing a crisp white with warmer ivory shades to add cozy texture and dimension to any space. Think a big fluffy bed stacked with fresh linens or a big knit wool blanket. It’s surprisingly festive when paired with natural elements like garlands and flower arrangements.
