It’s no secret- I’m obsessed with black and white EVERYTHING. We already covered my love of black and white fireplaces (by the way, we still haven’t chosen a direction for our own!)– today we’ll look at 2 fabulous black and white bedroom designs. You tell me– which one takes the cake?
This black and white bedroom design by Caitlin Wilson Designs is clean, graphic, feminine and traditional. Don’t you find the symmetry and repetition calming in a way?

Let’s compare with the work of Patrick Mele below. His black and white bedroom still offers up some traditional elements– but they’re offset by some funkier more contemporary pieces (the minimalistic headboard, the architectural task lamp, the chrome side table, etc). While the black, white and taupey-tan ground the design, the unexpected pops of orange & red bring it to life!
