Where a markdown is worth it

Spend the savings on the pieces you touch every day. A sofa, a dining table, a bed — the anchors — are where quality shows and where a sale price changes what's within reach. Smaller decor is easier to swap later, so let the discount decide the big things and let taste decide the rest.

Shopping a sale without regret

Measure first, then filter. Know the width your wall can carry and the rug size your room needs before the price tag does the deciding — a discount on the wrong dimensions is not a deal. Use the filters to narrow by size, price, and material, and turn on In stock when you need it soon.

Building a room from the sale

Start with the anchor, then layer. Pick the largest piece first, pull a palette from it, and add the rug, lighting, and textiles that agree with it. Mixing a marked-down anchor with a few full-price finishing pieces is how most of our designers' rooms actually come together.
