My design aesthetic would be a cozy, bohemian-chic vibe. Plants of all sizes, a rug to provide comfort, modern glam accent pieces, a deep set cozy sofa and of course to top it off, artwork to bring together all of the elements of the room!
I absolutely love to combine textures and colors to create spaces that are fashionable with a sophisticated elegance. Mixing elements allows for elevated designs that are pleasing to the eye and unique to the individual, such as combining vintage with new or classic with modern.
Currently, I'm completely enthralled by a cozy, bohemian and global style. I've always been fascinated by mixing of textures and prints, but I'm so glad to see this style take off lately! To me, it makes even a modern space feel warm and homey. However, since I recently moved to Savannah, GA my own personal home is giving me a chance to fall in love with more coastal styling!
With roots in Texas, New Jersey, and New York, I like to mix things up. I love to blend styles to make a space feel unique and I always like to add something to make the space pop. My background in creating events for NYC museums was really about storytelling and shaped my visual aesthetic. My designs develop the narrative of the place and its residents, culminating in a meaningful, personal, restorative space: one without fuss; one that will mature over time.
