Luxe fabrics and lots of shimmer - what’s not to love about glam interior design? Explore the interior designers who can bring glam style into your home.
I have a strong preference for design aesthetics that incorporates natural materials and elements such as wood, stone, metal, and glass. I prefer these materials since more than 99% of human history happened while surrounded by nature, which we evolve to react to, not the artificial environment we are used to. That's why I prefer to use natural materials or designs that evoke nature. I also love animals, and I run a pet-friendly interior design blog https://barkandchase.com
My personal design aesthetic has changed over the years. I have always loved mid century modern and modern clean lines - that has not changed! However my work experience has pushed me to see the beauty in very traditionally designed spaces. Now, I love and can appreciate all design aesthetics whether they match my personal tastes or not.
Coastal and glam are both fantastic design aesthetics! Coastal design brings a sense of relaxation and tranquility with its light color palettes, natural textures, and nautical-inspired accents. It's like bringing the serene vibe of the beach into your home. On the other hand, glam design adds a touch of luxury and sophistication with its bold colors, luxurious fabrics, and glamorous accents like crystal chandeliers and mirrored furniture. It's all about creating a space that feels extravagant!
I love modern sophisticated glam because it blends contemporary elegance with luxurious touches. Picture clean lines, sleek finishes, and a muted color palette with gold and silver accents. Minimalist yet striking furniture often features plush textures like velvet and faux fur, adding warmth and comfort. This style creates stylish, inviting spaces that are timeless and on-trend, a type of quiet luxury.
My favorite design aesthetic is the Minimalist design. It focuses on simplicity and functionality, creating spaces that are clean, uncluttered, and calming. Every element serves a purpose, and there’s a focus on clean lines and basic shapes. Minimalist design is about creating a serene and functional environment that prioritizes simplicity and quality. If done well, it can offer a beautiful and refreshing living space.
My favorite design aesthetic is a harmonious blend of modern minimalism with touches of glam and mid-century warmth. This look is all about clean lines, open spaces, and a neutral color palette that allows natural light to flood the room. I love pairing sleek, contemporary furniture with rich textures like wood, leather, and woven fabrics to create a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting.
I love Modern Minimalist Glam styles, and Eclectic variations of mixing these to create serene, balanced, and timelessly chic looks. Also love a good Classic & clean elegant Transitional look, as well as Earthy Industrial Modern vibes. Good at listening, helping explain the differences between styles, marrying styles, & coming up with a unique style name for clients!
Traditional is my favorite design aesthetic as I am inspired by old world design and decorative arts from the past. The use of fine textiles mixed with dark woods and contemporary pieces creates a feeling of charm and enchantment. The blending of old European influences mixed with the new brings a curated and elegant feel to the space.
I love an eclectic, unique space with a solid foundation of transitional and classic furniture pieces. Then personalize the space with touches of glam, coastal, preppy, bohemian, or any design style!
I love to create unusual and personalized spaces with unexpected details, mixing glam and a clean aesthetic design to create a comfortable, familiar and stylish interior.
I get a lot of inspiration by the shapes that modern design can offer to a space, I love that feeling of order in the room that we can get with modern furniture... but to be honest I like all styles, I think that each one has particular story to tell us...
Even though my designs follow an eclectic style, I love incorporating organic pieces, pops of color, and textures, that adapt depending on the environment and space. I focus on the client’s requirements to offer proposals according to their needs and contribute to creating comfortable, functional, and aesthetic proposals.
