How do I choose my interior design style?

I am a first time user and received this as a Mother's Day gift. I like the ideas presented and the designer was more than happy to find alternative pieces if the piece exceeded my budget.

We went into this experience very skeptical and not expecting much out of it; however, we were blown away by how someone who had never met us nor been in our home was able to hone in on exactly what we wanted and execute our vision. We cannot wait to do this again with another room in our home.
